For me that is the creation of Caitlin's Retreat. A special place for special families, approximately 15km from the CBD of Melbourne. Caitlin's Retreat opened in 2009 and a number of families have enjoyed the serenity of Caitlin's Retreat.

There is a growing number of families booked in for the early part of the New Year.

We have now, thanks to the support of Variety, built a wonderful playground. The reflection pond which now incorporates a sheltered cabana to relax beneath, has been fenced.

Throughout 2010, we plan to finish a large deck at the front of the main house, add some more livestock to our two friendly sheep and begin some very exciting programs on site for special needs children and their families.

How often do you see people turning left but looking right? The other day I almost got run over by a driver doing exactly that. In life we must glance to see what maybe heading our way but always be focused on our purpose and vision of where we are going otherwise we are likely to crash and cause heartache for ourselves and others.
