An Inspiring Story
Andrew is an ordinary man with an extraordinary story to share.
From humble beginnings, with little formal education Andrew became a self-made world leader in the incredibly competitive computer business.
Andrew finished high school at fifteen and went on to become a hugely successful businessman, philanthropist and sought after professional inspirational speaker. A qualified pilot, investor and family man, who has been through some of the worst imaginable life experiences.
Andrew’s message of Purpose and Persistence will motivate and inspire you, your company, your students or your family.
The tragic loss of Andrew’s young daughter Caitlin, opened a pathway towards Andrew's extensive philanthropic interests and inspirational speaking. Several of Andrew’s friends (who themselves are renown professional speakers) encouraged Andrew to share his own personal experience and the lessons he has learned along the way about making money, dealing with people from all walks of life, winning and losing and the upside of failure.
Inspiring Author and Benefactor
Caitlin’s Retreat has been inspired by the life of Caitlin Darbyshire. Caitlin passed away in August 2006 aged 8, after a lifelong battle with a complex genetic brain disorder.
Although severely handicapped, Caitlin lived a happy life filled with adventures, experiences and opportunities. Most importantly she was surrounded by the love of her family and all who came to know her.
Caitlin’s passing inspired Andrew to make a difference in the world by founding Caitlin’s Retreat. Through Andrew’s speaking engagement, awareness and funds are raised.
Losing Caitlin was a tragic event that Andrew will never forget. Founding Caitlin's Retreat is his way of turning this painful event into a road of growth and gratitude

Zoo After many years of lobbying by Andrew, the new Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne will incorporate a zoo, run by the Royal Melbourne Zoo. This innovation will help catapult the new Hospital’s recognition throughout the world.
